Okay, this is a difficult one. Firstly have not stayed here for many many years. Service & reception very good, they could not have been more helpful. Accommodation, waterfront villa, like a lot of the older villas need an update ( which they are doing). With 95 cabin options it's best to do your homework & choose what is right for you & your family. It's a bit further from the beach than other parks in the area but it does have a tidal lagoon which is a good option for the little ones. The country club is just across the road & the food is great. After speaking with the manager about some of our concerns he was very sympathetic & understanding of we had to say & after touring cabins which had been renovated we acknowledge is was going to take some time to bring the park back to the good old days. Kids areas are what I'd describe as adequate, pool, games room, playground etc. Overall it wasn't too bad, one of those places you initially think why have we booked here but after weighing up the pros & cons & recognising what the future endeavours are we'd definitely go back. No 1 tip. Look at the park map & choose the best accommodation to suit your needs.

8 of us stayed for a lad's golf weekend and the accommodation was excellent. The resort is walking distance to Catalina Golf Club, the rooms were clean (and will be even better once they finish renovating the rooms), and views to the water on our walks are excellent. Great place!

The team members and communications are great. The facilities are terrible. So run down and just awful, particularly for the price. Needs a huge overhaul. I was unable to sit on the lounge due to the smell and it was completely worn out, it belongs in a rubbish dump. Ceiling fans broken and battered, leaking tap, noisy, unsafe. Never again.

What a great week spent here in Bateman's Bay at the Marina Resort. 3bedroom 2 bathroom waterfront cabin was great with heaps of room to relax. Great views. Excellent quiet location. Friendly staff. Walking distance to town, restaurants, golf club, marina, beach & carnival. We highly recommend 👌

The cabins are starting to show there age. Laundry tap needs a new washer but apart from that good clean cabins. Love the washing machine and dryer in the cabins, for extended stays they would be well appreciated. Close to town and across the road from the club... happy days.

We stayed in a Bayview 2.5 bedroom villa. (Yep one room is small just big enough for a bunk) *$430 a night I’d try a lot harder to find something nicer with a location sacrifice. Look the location is nice but I couldn’t find anything else I liked. Pros and cons Pro. •Nice location of the bay and passing boats into marina. When the tide retreats the kids enjoyed the explore and seeing the crabs run about. I guess yes as I reviewed other comments the Catalina clubs were very close too if you have the budget for that. Cons •Dangerous first one; well I could be wrong (from South Aust) but lighting a gas top and worst oven with a hand lighter is unacceptable. It seems to be a standard practise here.. Story, I was out playing mini golf with the older one, my wife was bathing the baby after lighting the oven for dinner. Not long after the flame went out and the kitchen filled with gas then…unfortunately my wife tried to relight the oven head in with a lighter and a ball of flame hit her and almost our 1yo. Thankfully she just lost some arm and head hair. $430 a night and we got this. I spoke to reception to immediately fix the oven and practise as the next guests may not be so fortunate. ‘We will try and get a plumber and replace’ That night it was the same oven with no maintenance or any management approach or better yet compensation. That reminds me I felt once you paid (for us close to $3000) it was like you were just and inconvenience. I will finish this quick now. •shower head would not stay up (got that fixed) •extremely blunt cooking knife (got that replaced) •no chux (we bought) •light in range hood and fridge blown •window winders broken •no internet, called reception which they stated a manger will come and fix, (no-one came) •no deck bbq as everyone else out front had one expect us. Reception said they are ‘being phased out’ and will try and find one. We later got one from someone the moved out across. •they have mini golf, pool table, fuzz ball, trike bikes but you need to pay. $7.50 to play mini golf. $10-$15 for 30mins to ride on the bikes. Take it or leave it but it wasn’t for me or my young family

We stayed at this resort during the holidays. Villa is a bit old , but that doesn’t bother us. Staff are very helpful, and accommodating. This place has all the essential things we need . There is shopping centre nearby, less than 10 mins drive . It’s nice and quiet place. There were many families with young kids . This place is very friendly for family with young kids and elderly people with walking frame . Walk paths are easy and flat . There is a fishing spot within walking distance ( 2-3 mins ) . There are also beautiful beaches within 10-20 mins drive. Overall, it was such a pleasant stay for us.

Excellent service and accommodation. Great for work and holiday accommodation. Our villa was excellent value for money just getting a bit tired cosmetically. They have newer types of villas and I saw some maintenance/renovations done to some. Overall excellent and we will come again. Thanks
